Impressions from the FOOD VISION Photo Contest

We all have our favourite dishes, we all love tasty food! Our supermarkets offer a huge variety of all kinds of store brand products at ever lower prices. The downside of this consumer’s paradise? People in developing countries and in Europe who grow or process our food often struggle to make a living. The way many products are grown or produced damages our environment. It is time to make our food more sustainable! But how?

While our campaign is asking retailers to implement changes in their supply chains, with our photo competition we have been asking consumers to share their vision of a better world and a more sustainable retail industry. More than 600 participants from all European countries have contributed to the contest.

Curated from the contributions to our competition, the European Food Vision Photo Exhibition has been touring through various locations in Europe and will continue to do so
